Large Early 20th Century Chinese Terracotta Jar
About the Item
This jar made by hand with exceptional floral and Chinese calligraphy motifs marked on it, and beautifully glazed with olive color.
The unique look in this jar show as that while in the process of making the jar, the artist add some pieces of metal to the surface of the jar, melting on the terracotta and giving us this one of a kind object of art.
Top opening 5”
Bottom has 3 small holes for water drainage.
