This art pottery vase was done by the renowned Marcello Fantoni of Italy in approximately 1960 in the period Mid-Century Modern style. The vase is done with a thick dark brown clay with a bulbous form and is decorated with swirled bands of blue and turquoise drip glaze with a deep green glazed base. The vase is clearly signed on the base with a faint model number.
