About the Item
Monumental floor vase by Swedish master ceramist Gunnar Nylund.
One of Nylund‘s ‚alphabet vases‘, of which each has a three letter code describing it‘s shape, this one being the model AKT.
The alphabet vases were hand-thrown in the workshops of Rörstrand factory in Sweden in the 1950s and 1960s. Each piece has a unique glaze, this one comes in hues of chocolate brown with darker streaks.
Very good condition with a few marks and a scratch, 1st quality factory sorting.
