About the Item

These are antique Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vases, often referred to as Rose Medallion. They feature hand-painted enamel courtyard scenes with figures, surrounded by floral and foliate borders. The vases have molded, gilded Foo Dog handles at the neck and applied gilded dragon figures on the shoulder. The vases have a baluster shape with flared and scalloped rim. Dimensions: 4" W, 10 1/8" H Condition: Please see detail photos. There is expected wear and rubbing to the gilt dragon figures and foo dog handles, a few fissures to the dragons that are original to production, small 1/4" round repair to surface, minor losses/scratches to enamel, all being mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is colorful and fine.
