this Roseville jardiniere on pedestal in the rare Florentine Pattern manufactured from 1923-1926, featuring a bulbous double-handled urn resting on a tapering pedestal ending on a splayed foot; adorned overall with egg-and-dart perimeter bands and cascading garland festoons; Founded in 1890 by J.F. Weaver in Roseville, Ohio, Roseville Pottery was one of the fastest growing pottery companies at the turn of the century. After incorporating three other ceramic plants from 1895 to 1901, the company relocated to Zanesville, Ohio, where it remained until its eventual closure in 1954 - National Museum of American History
