Signe Pistorious-Lehmann Organic German Art Studio Pottery Vase, circa 1980s
About the Item
Signed European studio art pottery vase by Signe Pistorious-Lehmann (1925-2012). Beautiful organic form referencing the natural forms of plants with the wood like brown glaze of the vase which is enveloped in what feels very much like a large green leaf. She worked together with her husband Klaus Lehmann (1927-2016) in their Atelier in Odenwald, Germany from 1955. Quite rare to find a work like this. Beautiful piece.
