BUD VASE ON HIMALAYAN QUARTZ Studio Greytak’s Bud Vase on Himalayan Quartz puts the duality of love and passion on full display. Bold and delicate, intense and soothing, a profusion of sparkling Himalayan crystal quartz prisms captures the light from every direction and concentrates it into a slender vase of polished bronze just large enough to hold the stem of a single rose. Each crystal point contrasts with the smooth, rounded petals unfurling above and amplifies the intention of this most enduring symbol of true love. A pool of bronze, the metal of vitality, is polished to a high sheen, the better to reflect the purity of the gems floating on its surface. Quartz crystals are found on every continent on Earth, but it is those mined by hand from the vast Himalayan mountain range that contain the highest of spiritual powers. In Hinduism, Mount Meru is the center of the physical, metaphysical, and spiritual universes and the home of deities Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
