Two Schlossberg Keramik 1950's Pale Chartreuse Glazed Vases

About the Item

Consisting of one ovoid pot and a fish-mouth vase, each in a glossy light-chartreuse glaze contrasting with a matt brown background; Schlossberg keramik was established in 1946 by Ilse and Theodore Stefan in the north Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany. The name was derived from its proximity to the foot of the 'schloßberg' or castle hill.
