Art Nouveau Cut Crystal & Silver Ashtray, Copenhagen 1920s

About the Item

Art Nouveau style ashtray composed of a cut and edged crystal tray set with a silver rim with 3 cigarette/cigars holders. Made by Grann & Laglye in Denmark in 1928. Its fully hallmarked with the three towers 830/1000 silver content, makers marks etc. It has an inscription in Danish that reads: Thanks for the 25 years - The Technical School of Frederikshavn - 1903-1928. Measurements: D: 17 cm, H: 3.5 cm.
