Vintage Italian "Birra Italia" beer brown glass bottle.
The bottle shows two slogans "Birra Italia Speciale Milano" (Birra Italia specialty from Milan) as label and "Birra Italia the favorite" on the bottle neck twice, on front (small) and back (large).
The bottle is empty and has no lid.
Collector's note:
Birra Italia was founded in 1906, in the artistic period of the Belle Époque and therefore in a positive climate, characterized by great optimism. The first plant was in Milan in Corso Sempione and produced three types of beer, one clear, one dark and one high gradation, drawing pure water, perfect for beer, from three wells that were right inside the factory. Thanks also to this resource, the brewery established itself in a short time, absorbing in the 1930s the Birra Milano, the Seriate Beer owned by Wunster and the Ambrosiana Brewery. However, problems began in the 1950s. In fact, a minor earthquake occurs in the area, with no damage to the surface, but it irreparably ruins the water of the wells of Birra Italia, making it hard and not very suitable for production. In 2007 the brand returns to production.
