An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver beaker, boxed; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver beaker has a tapering cylindrical form. The surface of the body is encompassed with impressive bands of bright cut engraved stylized floral and leaf style bands, segmented with vertical flute designs. One side of the body incorporates a bordered oval cartouche displaying bright cut engraved monogram initials. This fine example of Victorian silverware retains the original gilded interior. This exceptional antique silver beaker is fitted to the original hinged leatherette presentation box with satin and velvet lined interior, secured with a push fit catch. The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Bright & Sons, Scarborough'. Condition This Victorian beaker is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The bright cut engraved decoration is all very crisp. Full hallmarks struck to the rim of the beaker are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
