$3,800

About
Machine Age Art Deco midcentury rare Schlumbohm Fahrenheitor cocktail shaker for Chemex, midcentury.
Profusely signed Dr. Peter Schlumbohm, aluminium and cork shaker, circa 1943.
Patented Schlumbohm Design in 1950 for the Chemex Corp.
Hard to find shaker in good vintage condition; some aging to original cork top and typical aluminum staining to inside at base from use.
A rare example of the patented Schlumbohm cooling design, Iconic American Industrial Design example.
From his rare "garbage pail", designed in the manner of an ice bucket, for stylish table-top use in Modern 1930's apartments, through his late 1940s-early 1950s innovative patented glass and cork every-day designs produced by Chemex, Dr. Peter Schlumbohm was a true pioneer of elegantly stripped-down functional design.
