Pair of Antique English Silver Plated Bottle Coasters with Turned Wooden Inserts

About the Item

This pair of large wine bottle coasters are unsigned with respect to the maker, but originate from England and date to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. The bottle coasters are composed of silver plate with deep ribbed sides and a stylized rope around the rim with stylized leave accents with turned walnut wooden inserts in the bottom. These bottle coasters are clearly signed "Made in England" on the lower portion of the sides in block letters, under a stylied lion. The bottoms are covered in their original green felt.
