Set of 6 Italian Silver-Plated Animal Head Stirrup Cups with Stag Decanter, Attributed to Mauro Manetti, 1970s An exceptional and rare complete set of six Italian silver-plated animal head stirrup cups with matching stag-head wine decanter, attributed to Mauro Manetti and crafted in Italy during the 1970s. This sought-after barware collection includes one each of a stag, horse, hound, wild boar, hare, and fox (or wolf), representing the full range of animal designs produced by MP. Each sculptural stirrup cup is beautifully cast with finely detailed animal heads and can be displayed upright or inverted in the traditional manner. Hallmarked "MP Made in Italy," the cups embody the refined craftsmanship and whimsical elegance that made Italian designer barware of the period highly collectible.
