Spanish Silver Bar / Cocktail Set by Pedro Duran Morales, c 1950

About the Item

A fabulous and unusual boxed set of three drinks openers (Corkscrew and two different types of bottle openers), perfect for the most fashionable bars / trolleys or drinks trays. Made from Spanish solid silver with a 915 fineness, Identified by the Pentagram which is the standard hallmark in Spain for solid silver, used between 1934 and 1985; I would date these to the 1950's. The vase in a Hexagon is the silversmith or Orfebreria for Pedro Duran Morales and each piece bearing the signature of the founder, often referred to as the finest goldsmith in Spain. The three pieces come complete in their original case and as you can see probably never used with the labels intact. Excellent condition the case measures 7 1/4" x 7 1/4" x 1 3/4" Item: 43000.
