Modernism Bowl

About the Item

An uber-modern, midcentury dish. Standing on three balls and shaped like a tear drop, one end curves up. The upward side comes to a narrow slope while the other side is rounded. This dish has a fluid shape, seemingly mobile. These midcentury pieces were done as experimental, breaking away from the rigid idea of what sterling hollowware should conform to. They are as interesting and decorative now as they were back then.
