Outstanding Art Nouveau Calla Lily 19th Century Epergne on Plateau
About the Item
This is a rare form as far as epergnes go-a beautiful and realistic interpretation in the Art Nouveau style representing Calla Lilies surrounding a matching central trumpet. The hand blown flowers are in a subtle opalescent white glass that is very naturalistic in style and color. Each trumpet is embellished with applied rigaree and they are fitted in brass holders mounted on a mirror base. The reflective nature gives them the feeling that they are floating in a pool of water. This a stand-alone beauty or an amazing centerpiece!
