Pair Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Sheffield Plate Epergnes Centrepieces 1824

About the Item

A pair of magnificent antique George IV Epergnes with elegant sterling silver classical figures supporting the central cut glass bowl. The rest of the impressive centrepiece is made in traditional Old Sheffield plate and four branches support four cut glass bowls.  Made in Sheffield, England in 1824 by Samuel Roberts Jr, George Cadman & Co. Approx. Height - 51.5cm Approx. Width of branches - 43.3cm The central columns of the Epergnes are solid silver and have full English hallmarks. This pair of Georgian Centrepieces is in excellent condition with no damage and the glass also in immaculate condition. There is some minor wear to the Old Sheffield plate where the copper just peeps through. STOCK CODE - CENT01 GEO01.
