A beautiful vintage 1960's Swedish ceramic sculptural jug, designed by Gunner Nylund.
Glazed in a brown shade, with hints of blue throughout.
A truly beautiful, sculptural decorative piece.
On the base, the makers signature can be seen.
About the designer:
Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) is one of the most well-known representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century.
He was the artistic leader for the Rorstrand factory in the 1940's and 1950's.
Nylund is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
