Art Deco "Craquelé" Vase by Charles Catteau for Keramis, 1920s
About the Item
A Boch Freres Keramis art pottery vase produced at La Louvière, Belgium during the Art Deco period, circa 1930. This glazed earthenware vessel bears the company's decor number "D.2366" which features hand painted stylized flowers in a striking combination of turquoise, cobalt blue, and yellow enameling against a white/ivory craquelure ground and glazed ivory interior.
Marked with a hand-painted black "D.2366" decor number, and a printed Boch Freres mark used between 1927 and the Second World War.
