A fine English china plate with the sought-after 'Texian Campaigne' pattern in brown and white transfer ware by Thomas Walker, circa 1845-1851. Also known as Texan Campaign, Texian Campaigne, a most popular American Historical Staffordshire series, shows battle scenes from the War with Mexico (1846-1848) that resulted in the United States acquiring most of its current Southwest.
