About the Item
Very Rare Goldscheider Vienna Figurine of the 1920s:
Standing pierrette leaned forward and holding her hands together behind her back, in a white costume with a multi-layered, pine-cone-like balloon skirt, with partly colorfully embroidered top and shoes, and next to her matching pointed hat on the floor.
The figure is based on a light gray, graduated, faceted round base.
Designed by Josef LORENZL (1892 - 1950), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory in the period of 1920 - 1940.
This Model 5316 was created circa 1924.
