Very rare Art Deco Goldscheider ceramics figurine The graceful dancer, shown is Rita Zabekow, wears a tight-fitting, long-sleeved, high-necked costume with a matching long hood and tights with large oval cutouts. She holds a mask in her right hand, which she rests on her left thigh, and two more, larger masks are placed at her feet. On a black, flat arched base with beveled corners, signature 'DAKON' on the top next to the masks. Designed by STEPHAN DAKON (1904-1997), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-1950s.
