Goldscheider Vienna Art Deco Girl with Hat in the Wind by Stephan Dakon

The striding girl leans slightly backwards into the wind and holds her hat on the back of her head with both hands. She wears a dress with a black and white patterned tight-fitting top with wide sleeves, a gust of wind blows the bright red skirt sideways forward. On a white, rounded rectangular base with a tree stump as a support. Designed by Stephan Dakon (1904-1992), was one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-1950s. This Model 6459 was created circa 1930.
