Goldscheider Vienna Very Interesting As Well As Rare Dancingy Lady Figurine. Designed by Josef Lorenzl (1892-1950) / one of the most important designers having been active for Goldscheider manufactory in period of 1920-1940 / Model 8363 created circa 1938. Made 1938 Model number 8363 / 76 / 0 Hallmarked: GOLDSCHEIDER's stamp mark G / further there are the characters "Goldscheider Wien, MADE IN GERMANY" visible at reverse side of base: This Goldscheider figurine was manufactured after March 1938 when Austria became part of Germany. The name of modeller 'LORENZL' is existing at reverse side, too. Painter's and modeller's signs visible, too. Subject: It is a finest goldscheider walking lady figurine with nearly bare upper body, clad in purple red shaded long skirt decorated with nicest patterns of flower's blossoms / her upper body is partially covered with matching bikini top. The lady holds her arms up while she is looking slightly sidewards, a corner of her skirt is seized by right hand. - the lady's features are very handsome, she has beautiful red lips as well as a pretty nose and red cheeks; the lady's hairstyle is typical for the thirties. - the figurine is based on elliptic black socle.
