About the Item

Remarkable Art Deco Goldscheider ceramics figurine of the 1930s: Young dancer with short hair, bowing in front of her audience, so that the pleated skirt with zigzag hem stands up like a star, behind her on the ground there is a pointed hat. On a black, cambered and stepped round base. The figure is listed with its original title 'Viennese Waltz' as well as with the name 'Star'. Designed by STEPHAN DAKON (1904-1992), one of the most important designers who worked for the Goldscheider manufactory from 1924 until the mid-fifties.
