Highly decorative christalline green glazed stoneware by Arne Bang (1901-1983), made in his own workshop in Denmark in the 1940s. This piece is marked with the artists monogram AB; and the number 43; at the bottom.

Arne Bang (1901-1983) was a Danish ceramist, known for his stoneware vases and bowls with glazes in shades of blue, white, green and gray. Arne Bang attended the Danish Academy of Art. In 1925 he collaborated with Jacob Bang, the well-known architect and designer (and also his brother), on the Danish pavilion at the 1925 Paris Decorative Arts Exposition. He opened his own studio in 1932 which was operating until 1951.
