About the Item

A mid 20th century hand turned clay lidded jar with a lava glazed finish. Signature marked on the bottom of the jar. This jar is of a slightly egg-like shape. Majority of the body of the jar is a custom creamy white glaze. Portions of the bottom are unglazed. Top and lid are unglazed. Interior is glazed. Unglazed areas are a light sandy terracotta color A stunning mid-century example for display or use. In excellent condition. Width: 7" / 17.78 cm Depth: 7" / 17.78 cm Height: 11" / 27.94 cm
