Mid-Century Modern Glazed Ceramic Sculpture, Dated 1966

About the Item

Unusual and quite compelling American midcentury glazed stoneware geometric sculpture signed and dated 1966. Raw stoneware, a little glaze and some cobalt and iron were the standard elements of the day, along with the multitude of applications and incising that went into its slab manufacture. Very much a piece of its time. Can't quite make out the signature, dated 1966. There are 3 holes on top that can be used as a vase for dry flowers.
