Paris Porcelain Hand-Painted Jewellery Box

About the Item

A Paris Porcelain hand-painted jewellery box in the Sèvres style with cartouches of a medieval tavern scene and country scenes. The box is heavily gilt with garlands in the 18th century manner. The mounts are in ormolu. Paris, circa 1880-1890.
