Secessionist Vase, Ruddy Pink with Wiener Werkstatte-Influenced Glyphs

About the Item

Clearly showing the influences of the Vienna Secession and the Wiener Werkstatte, at a time when Vienna led the Germanic world's interpretation of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, this cylindrical vase is glazed in a gorgeous ruddy pink and decorated with the eccentric glyphs of the Austrian school. The shape, size and color of this vase are very rare, and marked pieces by the Wittenberg pottery works are scarce.
