Very large squared ceramic plate, hand painted abstract decor in green, yellow, red and black Signed Guido Gambone and donkey Mark, circa 1950-1960 About Guido Gambone Guido Gambone (1909 Montella IT-1969 Firenze IT) Guido Gambone is considered as one of the most influential ceramists of the 20th century, he defined an excessively personal style by mixing the ancestral techniques of ceramics with Etruscan or abstract decorations composed by with primary colors. We are located in Belgium; we present Postwar decorative arts with an emphasis on Line Vautrin, French decorators (Adnet, Leleu, Jouve...) but also high end Murano glass (Venini, Barovier, Bianconi, Dino Martens, Alessandro Pianon...)
