The glaze flows nicely both inside and out, and the glaze has a fine hairline. The rim has a nice gradation. The shape is that of a bowl with a regular circle rim, falling vertically from the rim and bending at the waist in the shape of a twilled bowl, a standard shape for Friberg's work.
