18th C French Luneville Faience Plates, Pair

About the Item

Pair of faience plates from Saint-Amand-les-Eaux factory, 1760-1770, in the north of France. The intense colors and floral decoration are similar to the faience of Strasbourg. The decoration is hand colored. The plates are soft paste and have been fired at a low heat.
