French Art Deco Longwy Ceramic Charger Bowl

About the Item

Wonderful large decorative French deep wall charger by Maurice Paul Chevallier for Fai¨ences de Longwy de Luneville. Decorated in a crackle glaze of vibrant colors and gilt and enameled with a bird surrounded by colorful foliage. Craquelle white ground and metallic gold accents in the tail feathers, the fruits on the trees and the centers of the red flowers. Beautiful vivid color and unusual large size. Limited edition. Wire on back for hanging. Weight.
