About the Item

A set of six pottery au gratin dishes, Vallauris, France, circa 1930s. A traditional rustic design, these Treacle glazed shallow, handled open-proof dishes are perfect for preparing and serving individual Croque Monsieur or Croque Madam sandwiches. Suitable for any dish that requires finishing in the oven. The bottoms are unglazed. 7.5 in. from handle to handle x 1.25 in. High. A 5.75 in. round interior. Very good conditions, showing the expected light wear from the oven.
