About the Item
A great set of fish plates by one of our favorite Gilded Age factories, Coalport, England. Custom ordered through the New York retailer Davis Collamore in the early 1900's and all are hand painted and artist signed. The detailing is exquisite from its shaped scalloped shell plate, soft green collars and gilt accented coral motif. The fish are realistic and retain their vibrant colors. Ten of the plates are in very good antique condition and two plates have cracks. These two are pictured second to last in the grouping
