English Pottery Creamware Blue Enamel Shell-Edge Dessert Service

It is so rare today to find a large, 18th century creamware service still together. The seventeen piece Neale & Co.shell-edge creamware pottery dessert service has a plain cream coloured body with a bright deep blue shell edge rim. Mark: Impressed NEALE & CO (some filled with blue) The seventeen piece service consists of the following pieces:- Ten plates (diameter: 8 1/2 inches) Pair of sauce tureen and covers (height: 6 1/2 inches x 8 1/2 inches length x 5 1/2 inches wide) Footed shell-shaped dish (diameter 9 1/2 inches) Diamond-shaped dish (9 inches x 11 inches) Oval dish (10 3/4 inches x 5 3/4 inches x 2 inches tall) Tall tazza ( 10 1/2 inches x 7 inches x 4 1/4 inches tall) Low tazza ( 10 1/2 inches x 8 inches x 3 inches tall).
