Gien French Faïence Majolica Green & Cream Glazed Artichoke Plate

From Gien France, a faïence Majolica glazed Artichoke plate, circa 1930-1940s.
Glazed in a pleasing combination of green and cream with raised scrolled leaves and a floral center.
A whole Artichoke sits center with a sauce well at the bottom. The spent leaves are placed around the side of the center well.
Measures: 9.25 in. Diameter x .75 in. Height
