A mottled glazed verso. S. Fielding & Co., Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1875. Measures: 10 in. diameter x .50 in. height Reference: Pg. 52 “Collecting Oyster Plates” by J.B. Snyder. A light overall crazing and evidence of kiln detritus, in the making. Multiples available, one with a short .25 in. stable hairline from the rim.
