About the Item
Set of fourteen Le Tallec porcelain dinner plates with hand-painted designs in 24K Gold Leaf from the late 1950's. The exquisite set features Greek Mythology and Harvest themes and is decorated with motifs of satyrs, cherubs, sheep, lions, ancients urns, and laurel foliage. Each plate is signed LE TALLEC, PARIS on the underside. This is a rare design from one of France's most renowned Ateliers and by Camille Le Tallec (1906-1991), one of the 20th Century's most important porcelain craftsman and artist.
