About the Item

A fine complete set of 12 antique Russian porcelain soup bowls. By the Russian porcelain manufacturer - Kornilov Brothers. With green, yellow, blue, and red enamel decoration to the border, as well as gilt highlights. Originally retailed by Bailey, Banks, & Biddle in Philadelphia. Simply a wonderful Imperial Russian porcelain soup bowls! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There are some noticeable scratches to the glaze of the bowls here and there, some minor rubbing to the gold, some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Kornilov (Alternate spelling: Korniloff) Marks: Marked to the reverse with the Korniloff Brothers Factory Mark / Made in Russia for Kornilov Brothers, for Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co., Philadelphia. / 46 Measurements: Diameter: 7 7/8 in.
