Set of 12 Limoges Porcelain Vermillion Dinner Plates with 24 Karat Gold Detail

About the Item
This beautiful set of twelve Mid-Century Modern Limoges Porcelain dinner plates were realized in France, circa 1960. They feature white subtly concave circular centers with raised vermilion borders decorated with alternating orbital forms and stylized starburst patterns in 24kt yellow gold. The edges of the plates are rimmed in yellow gold as well, testifying to the fact that no detail was overlooked in their fabrication. With their superlative craftsmanship, refined color palate, and clean modernist lines, these dinner plates promise to add more than a touch of sophistication to any dining table setting, regardless of the style of decor, blending perfectly with any interior from traditional to contemporary. They are signed "Limoges Paris" and are in excellent vintage condition.
