Antique hand blown ruby and transparent glass hookah base, made by the 19th Century Bohemian Glassmakers for the Persian or Ottoman market, magnificent ruby red design with impressive enameling and gilding, a border of gilt enamel on the base, the circular body is finely painted all arround with rich gilt enamel decoration featuring foliate patterns, scrollworks, colorful flowers and leaves, Bohemia, 19th Century.
