Antique Enamelled Glass Decanter & Glasses By J & L Lobmeyr, Vienna Late 19th.C

About the Item

ANTIQUE AUSTRIAN DECANTER AND CORDIAL GLASSES Hand-blown pinched clear glass decanter and four matching cordial glasses. Profusely decorated by hand with different colour enamels depicting winged Venetian grotesques and polychrome decorative ornaments in the Renaissance style. Each piece is signed with the Lobmeyr monogram logo. Dating from the late 19th Century period, circa 1870s. The glassware is all in remarkable vintage condition, they have been well cared for and appear to be scarcely, if at all used. The enamels are all bright and in very good order there is some handling wear as you would expect. We cannot find any chips or cracks on any of the pieces. Approximate measurements: Decanter 25cm high x 11cm wide x 11cm deep. Each glass 8cm high x 4cm diameter.
