Luncheon Set of 8 Salviati Engraved Venetian / Murano Glass Wine Goblet Stems

About the Item

A fine vintage set of 8 Venetian glass wine stems or goblets. Attributed to Salviati. In clear glass with a light blue suppressed ball knops with small applied prunts, fluted baluser stems, and blue wafer feet. Each shaped cup engraved with scenes of lovers a garden that include a man holding a flower, a dog, a woman, and a gazebo. Each foot also etched rocaille devices. Well-sized as white wine goblets. Simply a wonderful set of Venetian engraved glass wine stems! Date: Late 19th or Early 20th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Attributed to Salviati Marks: Apparently unmarked Measurements: Height: ca. 7 1/4 in. Diameter: ca. 3 1/8 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you.
