Antique Bohemian Jugendstil red Tango glass vase - possibly designed by Michael Powolny (1871-1954) and manufactured by Loetz - rare form with ruffled rim and black glass edge - black glass base with glass making tool marks as decoration - striking color combination - polished pontil - unsigned - Czech Republic - early 20th century. Excellent antique condition - manufacturing flaws and imperfections in the glass (mostly to the interior of the ruffled edge - feels slightly rough in areas) - no loss - no damage - no restoration - signs of age and use. Size/Dimensions - Medium - 5" (12.7 cm.) Diameter x 5 1/4" (13.4 cm.) High.
