One of two beautiful and rare Italian glass vases from the 'Istria series' by Lino Tagliapietra and Marina Angelin for Effetre International, Murano, 1986 and 1988 The vases are made of hand blown glass composed of blue, red, white, and black glass. Each vase is a handmade and therefore unique and a one-of-a-kind piece. There are differences in each vase and no one is exactly like the other ones. There is still an Effetre International label on them and they are graven (labeled) at the bottom with 'Tagliapietra / Angelin, Effetre International, Murano 1986'. The other vase is from 1988. Two vases are available. The price is per vase. The vases are part of the 'Istria series'. Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea. The peninsula is located at the head of the Adriatic between the Gulf of Trieste and the Kvarner Gulf. It is shared by three countries: Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy.
