Set of 6 Bohemian Cobalt Blue Overlay Crystal Goblets

About the Item

This exquisite set of six crystal goblets showcases the finest craftsmanship of Bohemian glassmaking. Each piece is meticulously crafted in deep cobalt blue overlay crystal, intricately cut through to clear crystal to reveal a remarkable etched motif of a double-headed eagle crowned with royal emblems—a regal and powerful symbol often associated with imperial Europe, particularly the Austro-Hungarian and Russian empires. The fine lattice patterning surrounding the medallion adds depth and texture to each goblet, creating dazzling light refractions that highlight the brilliance of the crystal. The stems are clear, faceted, and elegantly proportioned, giving each glass a perfect balance in the hand. Dating from the mid to late 20th century, these goblets are in excellent condition and ideal for collectors of European crystal, as well as those looking to elevate a formal table setting with historical flair and bold design. Whether used for wine, water, or as decorative pieces in a cabinet, they bring timeless elegance and sophistication to any setting. Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. A unique find for lovers of fine European crystal and imperial iconography.
