W.M.F. an Art Nouveau cutlery canteen, in oak case,
Early 20th century. The upper hinged casket with a fall front to reveal three fitted drawers, the lower section with a further two fitted drawers, the shaped legs joined by an undertier, the extensive silver colored metal service comprising settings for twelve, with ladles, salad servers etc. knives engraved 'Nirosta, W.M.F.' canteen.

The service has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. The table box has been professionally polished by a cabinet maker. The velvet interior of each draw has some wear in keeping with age, but can be considered to be in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse surface of each piece are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
